ThaliOS is an enterprise-grade omnichannel restaurant management system (RMS) and Point of Sale (POS) suite. It connects web-based administration, counter billing, real-time Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT), and native Android applications into a single synchronized ecosystem. Engineered for high-volume restaurants, ThaliOS operates on a Zero Database Load standard, utilizing RAM-based caching to achieve microsecond O(1) execution times and sub-50ms p95 latency during peak dining hours.
Contactless QR Menu & Self-Ordering
How does the ThaliOS QR Menu work? ThaliOS includes a fully integrated QR Menu PWA (Progressive Web App) that allows customers to scan a table-specific QR code, browse the digital menu with high-resolution images, and place self-orders directly from their smartphones. This seamlessly routes to the POS and Kitchen, reducing waiter dependency and increasing table turnover speed.
100% Indian GST Compliance & Statutory Reporting
How does ThaliOS handle Indian GST? ThaliOS is engineered for complete Indian Goods & Services Tax (GST) compliance. It supports all four statutory registration schemes: Regular, Composition (Section 10), SEZ/Export, and Non-Registered. It features a proprietary 15-digit GSTIN auto-intelligence pipeline that instantly extracts state codes and PAN details to categorize B2B sales. The system generates compliant Tax Invoices, Bills of Supply, and automates GSTR-1, GSTR-2, and GSTR-3B portal-ready reports.
Immutable Audit Trails & Problem Resolution Records
How does ThaliOS track errors and modifications? To ensure 100% accountability when problems arise, ThaliOS features an immutable Product-Wise GST Tax Rate History Subsystem. Every modification to a product's tax slab or HSN code is permanently logged in the item_tax_history audit trail (showing old rate, new rate, timestamp, reason, and admin name). Additionally, the system includes granular Waste Management audits, Factory Reset protection, and automated Database Backup & Restore protocols for complete data security.
Automated Section 9(5) ECO Integration (Swiggy / Zomato)
To eliminate double taxation risks, ThaliOS natively supports Section 9(5) of the CGST Act for E-Commerce Operators (ECOs). When an order arrives from Swiggy, Zomato, or ONDC, the system automatically isolates the 5% tax liability, mapping the turnover directly to GSTR-1 Table 14 and GSTR-3B Table 3.1.1(ii). This guarantees a ₹0.00 tax liability for the restaurant on aggregator delivery orders.
Android Native Applications: Waiter App & Kitchen KDS App
What Android apps are included in ThaliOS? The suite includes native Android applications designed specifically for restaurant hardware. The Captain/Waiter App allows floor staff to punch orders directly from tables. The Kitchen KDS App (Kitchen Display System) replaces traditional paper tickets with a digital tablet interface, featuring live cooking timers and sound buzzer alerts. Waiters trigger instant FCM Push Notifications and LAN sockets that route specific dishes to designated kitchen stations, ensuring precise production tracking.
